Seth Taylor
Biography


At the tender age of 3 years old, Seth Taylor was inspired by, as he said ,“Watching people play on CMT.” By age 4, Seth started competing in contests. And, by age 5, guitar lessons bloomed into also learning banjo. Garnering 14 awards in just 5 years, from 1st to 3rd place in guitar and banjo, at the Georgia State Championship, and Renofest and Merlefest Guitar and Banjo contests, Seth is now judging such events.

For the past few years, to expand on his band skills, and gain stage experience, Seth has been playing part time with acoustic groups Cody Shuler and Pine Mountain Railroad, Cane Creek, and a band he formed with friends, Reel Tyme. And, Seth is a multi-instrumentalist playing not only guitar and banjo, but mandolin, dobro and bass.

Now, at age 16, Seth has accomplished in his young life what most seasoned professionals would dream of having had experienced in their young careers. And, those favorite artists he enjoyed watching? They are now mentors, bandmates, and friends. Seth has had the privilege of opening for and sharing the stage with Country and Bluegrass greats such as Charlie Daniels, Terri Clark, Tracy Byrd, Blue Highway, Marty Raybon and Brad Paisley.

Seth Taylor is now ready to expand on his experiences, and pursue a full time career in the music industry. Seth sees himself playing sessions, writing songs, and performing on stage as a band member and, eventually heading his own show. And, with the passion he’s had since age 3, this multi-talented, gifted young musician will most certainly accomplish anything he desires.
